I could lie about the meaning behind the name… but the origin story is amusing.

Originally, The Habit Flow was meant to be a blog — a space filled with productivity tips, life hacks, and strategies for building habits and finding flow. Ironically, I quickly discovered that maintaining the blog drained my energy, pulling me away from what truly inspired me: sewing, fashion design, and creating art.

For as long as I can remember — from sewing tiny outfits for my dolls in kindergarten to crafting handbags and clothing for myself — creating has been my natural rhythm, the place where I enter the flow state effortlessly. So, I chose to stop wasting my time writing about spreadsheets and redirect my time into what I love most: combining fashion design and art.

Rather than start from scratch, I decided to carry the name The Habit Flow forward, giving it new meaning — not as a site about building habits, but as a brand born from the habits that have always been part of me.

At HBT_FLW, everything is crafted with intention, playfulness, and deep creative joy. My hope is that each piece carries that spirit forward to you — that when you wear it, you feel not just dressed, but lit up.

Because at the end of the day, life is better when we embrace what moves us :)
